Thanks so much for the ID on the lamb's lettuce, that is great news, since it has been allowed to seed and will now be everywhere. It gets a little larger than really fits in the garden, but it will now be left to grow rather than pulled as a weed, within reason of course. Your mother's garden plot is lovely. The lavender is so lush and full and the little stone path is a sweet hardscape to the view from above. I do wish you could visit my garden too. Maybe someday I will be able to visit Ireland, also.
