I woke up early this morning to a dawn chorus of birdsong.
Hear the rooster? (at 28sec) He had to add his voice to the song as well.

My favorite sounds at anytime of the day.
Here on Whidbey Island WA USA The robins are singing to attract a mate, how wonderful to hear them.Yesterday I heard a bird calling, just two bell like notes I have never heard before, but I could not see the bird anywhere.
Wow! What a beautiful sound to wake up to and I LOVE the distant rooster piping in.
There are times at our house that the treetops burst with birds singing, others it is mid-morning chatter at the bird feeder. Oh! and I can't forget to mention the wild turkeys gobbling as they wake up or gathering to roost for the night.
I can't wait to visit (some day)!
