Flowering Trees Create Fragrant, Bird-Friendly Habitat By: Fast Growing Trees NurseryFlowering trees can be much more than just a showy focal point. In fact, with just a little planning, your flowering trees can provide natural habitat for birds and create fragrant aromas for you to take pleasure in. Select your flowering trees so that they fit into your landscape. Use them to screen objectionable views and provide privacy. Group trees by size and shape to create a dramatic effect, especially during springtime blooming. Single trees, chosen for outstanding color and abundance of flowers, create eye-catching focal points in smaller yards. Plant them in center-stage locations clearly visible from indoors and the street. Because of their nutritional value, the fruits of flowering trees also attract many species of birds year-round. For example, viburnum is a shrub that produces spring-ripening fruits. The berries of the flowering dogwood offer food in the fall. Other trees, such as crabapple, bear fruit that provides food all through the winter. Finally, flowering trees offer aromatic foliage and bring memorable character to your garden. Use flowering trees in the places where they'll be most appreciated; such as along garden paths, in courtyards, or in seating areas. Because of their stunning springtime blooms, the bird-friendly habitat they create, and their aromatic splendor, flowering trees will be the crown jewels of your home landscape.

Your Forsythia is so beautiful! (Mine always looks like an overgrown mess.) I hope you had a good Easter. Enjoy Spring!
When I was growing up in Oregon, Forsythia was the first serious exuberance of spring.
Alas, these days, spring for you means fall for me.
What a pretty sight! -I wish you a joyful spring as well, and I hope you had a lovely Easter...

Oh yes! Please awake! :)
