William glows in the morning sun
Beautiful William Morris, a David Austin English rose. He was positively glowing yesterday morning, as the sun came out of the fog.
The moon still shines behind his soft peachy petals.
William is very healthy this year, growing quite large on the fence. Can you see the faint strands of a spider web?
If anyone asks me today, which is my favorite rose, I might just say it's my beautiful William Morris.

wow, these are all so gorgeous!!! breathtaking. the colors are amazingly vivid and the texture is so clear! i can practically smell the sweet aroma, they are that beautiful.
Quite bonny, your Williams! Stunning photography, as usual, and a glimpse of your green thumb on each and every corner. My compliments!
Hi Salixtree, William is easily a favorite. I love the shot with the moon in the daytime. I have tried to capture that but have failed so far. Now you have inspired me to keep trying. The light around William is like a halo, he is heaven sent!

A really beautiful rose, Salix Tree--how tall is the plant? I love the color--does it take a lot of tending or is it pretty resistant? Anyway, it's pretty pretty!
Cosmo, this rose stands taller than me now, at about 7 to 8 feet. I tie the long branches to the fencing. I'm glad for the height, as the flowers tend to hang their heads downward, so it's nice to look up at the blooms. It seems to prefer a sunny and warmish site. It's extremely easy to care for, and very healthy. I've never pruned it, just cut off the spent blooms.
very beautiful rose, lovely color.
