Peek-a-boo tulip
My favorite tulips, soon to bloom. They are called "Mickey Mouse" I've had them for years and years, and they are multiplying every year. Very easy, very colorful, yellow tulips with bold red markings on them. I'll be sure to get a shot of them later when in thier full cartoon beauty. It's a perfect flower for an animator! ;-)

Oh can't wait to see it in it's full beauty!
I'm waiting for the next cartoon photo, too, Salix Tree. How interesting that your tulips multiply - for many of the gardeners in the US, the climate means that newly planted tulips bloom big the following spring, but then decrease. That probably keeps the bulb companies happy, though, doesn't it!

... I see you!! That just came to mind from your blog title, Silvia!
These are such interesting-looking tulips. I, too, will enjoy seeing them in full bloom. At the moment, they are looking most exotic and the snow continues to obliterate the garden yet again!!!
Beauties!
just found your comment on mine, thank you, somehow missed you at Festival of the Trees, but what beautiful blogs you have!
Can't wait to see them in full bloom. Even the buds are elegant.
Those are so pretty! Tulips are one of my favorite flowers, I find them to be the classiest of them all. What a great color. I had some peach ones up with my whites but the cold front sadly wiped them out....At least I had a few days to enjoy them.
