My Mom's garden

Tommorro, I'm off to visit my Mom in Holland again, she needs her garden tidied up.
Here are some pics of her little front garden last year, that I had planted. That's my Mom.

I picked up a few river stones from the nearby Maas, and laid them in a path for her to use as stepping stones.

The violas are there because I insisted on putting them in. She usually chooses plants, but I HAD to plant violas! I'll bring my camera and take new pics, and post them when I return.
See you all in two weeks!

Hope you have a save trip to the Netherlands! Enjoy your stay, the Netherlands are like paradise for gardeners! I'd love to go there again soon, too!

Take care,
Anita

P.S.: You were so right about planting violas in your mother's garden! Very well done!

Saw on another blog you mentioned you liked Torenia but couldn't find seed. Moles Seeds do small plants I think..

I can't even imagine a garden in Holland that doesn't grow in bright, pretty rows. Years ago I lived by the North Sea and all of my neighbors had perfect gardens. In fact, when they would chat with me as I passed by their gardens, they would be snipping away. Lucky mom to have such an attentive daughter.
