My Mom's garden
Tommorro, I'm off to visit my Mom in Holland again, she needs her garden tidied up.
Here are some pics of her little front garden last year, that I had planted. That's my Mom.
I picked up a few river stones from the nearby Maas, and laid them in a path for her to use as stepping stones.
The violas are there because I insisted on putting them in. She usually chooses plants, but I HAD to plant violas! I'll bring my camera and take new pics, and post them when I return.
See you all in two weeks!

Hope you have a save trip to the Netherlands! Enjoy your stay, the Netherlands are like paradise for gardeners! I'd love to go there again soon, too!
Take care,
Anita
P.S.: You were so right about planting violas in your mother's garden! Very well done!
What a good daughter you are! And you've done very well by your mother's garden, violas included. Enjoy your stay in the Netherlands and we'll look forward to pictures.
Have a wonderful time visiting your Mom! How nice you can share the garden together.
I hope you have a good visit with your mum. I imagine the garden has grown some - the violas are lovely. Every garden needs them!
Looking forward to seeing your pics!
What a lovely garden for your Mom! She looks so happy!
Have fun with your mum and return with lots of pictures soon! :)
Saw on another blog you mentioned you liked Torenia but couldn't find seed. Moles Seeds do small plants I think..

not sure if they deliver to Ireland but worth a look.
Have a great trip.
I hope you have a good time at your mothers place. Her garden must be looking lovely after your visit. I love Violas also. :)
I can't even imagine a garden in Holland that doesn't grow in bright, pretty rows. Years ago I lived by the North Sea and all of my neighbors had perfect gardens. In fact, when they would chat with me as I passed by their gardens, they would be snipping away. Lucky mom to have such an attentive daughter.
how fun, to go to Mom's and help her in the garden!
