Violas, puzzled and snoozing

While doing a bit of weeding, a startled viola suddenly looked at me, a little puzzled.

Later, I came across this one, snoozing in a bed of chive flowers.

What are your violas up to?

Your post made me smile, firstly because I love viola's and secondly because my name means viola too. I can tell you that my violets are up to no good but I won't say what I'm doing. ;-)

A bit puzzled, a bit sleepy, perhaps, but they both look very...experienced. I'd listen if they speak! ;-)

The violas here are still recovering from their beauty pageant. Some are miffed they were not included in the judging. We are surprised that they still look so good, we are approaching the heat of summer when they will dry up in the high temps. I love the chives shot, so pinky purply.
