Frilly orange poppy
I love this poppy, it's such a lovely soft orange color. No idea what name it is.. must look at my Secret Seeds catalogue and see which it is again.. I keep hoping for more each year, but it seems to not self seed as much as other poppies. I'll have to remember to collect seed and try for a bunch somewhere.
Thank you, Connie for the ID. It's called papaver rupifragum, it's common name is Spanish Poppy. She has a post on this same poppy as well, and also paired up with a lovely lilac-colored flower, dames rocket. Mine here is paired with geranium caffrum.

That's so pretty.
That is a lovely color combination.
Very soft color, and so pretty! I hope you can successfully sow a whole patch of them.
Beautiful picture. I love poppies too!
Hi, Just dropped by while on a blog walk today, and enjoyed the visit. That is a Spanish poppy....I did a blog post on it recently, if you would like to check it out. Is that Agrostemma (corn cockle) in the background? Lovely combo.
